What will you do?

As the technical leader of our pilot team, you will lead a group of software engineers and a data scientist with the goal of perfecting the autonomous venipuncture procedure of our medical device. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clinical experts to optimize the venipuncture procedure for maximum performance. Your tasks will include:

    • Developing and executing a development roadmap in collaboration with the product owner, using customer feedback and data-driven insights to drive continuous improvements;
    • Guiding and collaborating with the team to improve the venipuncture procedure and explore new possibilities for innovation;
    • Solving complex customer and clinical problems by applying knowledge of the device’s functionalities and translating this into improvements within your team and other development teams;
    • Designing, implementing, and validating improvements to the venipuncture strategy, while providing mentorship and coaching to team members;
    • Taking on HR and competency responsibilities for all engineers in your team, and fostering a culture of growth and excellence;
    • Keeping abreast of the latest developments in autonomous robot control, applying these insights to product improvements, and ensuring the team’s skills remain up-to-date.

      Who are we looking for?

      At Vitestro, we are looking for a driven individual with over ten years of practical experience in software development. Additionally, we seek someone with:

        • The ambition to lead (leadership experience is a plus);
        • A master’s degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field;
        • Background in autonomous driving/robotics or other highly regulated sectors such as healthcare;
        • Strong design and coding skills in C++, combined with a talent for creative problem-solving and innovation;
        • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
        • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistics;
        • Experience with data analysis and Python-based data science tools (preferred);
        • Proficiency in AI planning, decision-making, and other optimization techniques, with knowledge of automated decision-making processes (preferred);
        • Previous involvement in developing software for medical robotic devices (preferred).
